The Enchanted Valley

The Enchanted Valley is a renovation project of the children's play area of the Maternity Hospital of Malaga. Located on the 7th floor, this play area is divided into three distinct spaces: a multi-purpose indoor space that can serve as an indoor play area as well as a study area; and two outdoor terraces on both sides of the indoor space, providing this play floor with outdoor play and recreational spaces that make the children's stay in the hospital more pleasant and bearable.

Facts of the initiative

The project was born as an initiative of the Juegaterapia Foundation, whose mission is focused on providing fun through gardens and quality play and recreational spaces in hospitals where children with cancer must remain hospitalised during their harsh treatments. Understanding the important role that happiness and the state of mind of children play in their recovery, this project seeks to generate a real positive and hopeful impact on the recovery process of children in the Maternity Hospital in Malaga through play and fun.
